Peak Analysis and Automation Ltd (PAA) provide state-of-the-art automation and technology solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
A new 2 axis laboratory multi-well plate handling robot was being developed that was economic, small footprint, easy to setup and use.
Design
Pharmaceutical robot gripper
PAA had produced an in-house proof of concept prototype and contracted Abraham Associates Ltd to design a production gripper, wrist, arm, arm external covers, electronics hardware and firmware. Our mechanical, electronics and software team worked in collaboration with PAA to develop and deliver a working pre-production prototype and production product.
Support was also provided for on-going changes and requirements.
